Combat Survival test in Normandy

On this trip we went to Normandy (specificlly a place called 'Caen') to go practise our newly harnessed combat/ survival skills and put them to the test.

We left on Friday the 19th of November and shortly after arrived at our destination. We arrived later that afternoon and quicklly got down to practicing and revising our skills obtained in class so as not to die the next day. You see for saturday the 20th, we were planned to split the group in two and have one time hunt for a green poncho in a forest with an area of about 12-15 km (outragous, right?) while the other time was to hunt us down at the same time. I was prey, so I definittly needed to learn these skill ahead of time.

When Saturday came we were woken up at 5 in the moruning by our ''drill sergeants''. The prey team was completilly domolished as we had stayed up till 3 in the morning that night. So we staggered out with our 30 pound backpacks and stated our journey to get the green poncho. We went through all kind of hell us prey to avoid the predetors and sooner or later we found ourselves split up, I walked through the rivers as not to be seen, Peiter and Shewan hid in the trees, while Nick and Anna crawled unbareblly slow through the mud

Out of pure skill our team managed to find the green poncho at around mid-day (sooner than expected) and so the teams met up and told our stories and started to build our camp for the night. We all made different sleeping arangements to survive the cold and rainy Normandy night. Some made make shift tents, some slept on grass, I slept in a frsh dug whole w/ Eric and Peiter. It was horrible.

We woke up on the 21st and left promptly at 1:15 to catch our train and arrived in Paris at 15:30.

* Keep in mind that I just wrote a mini essay 10 minutes ago describing this trip and it was suddenlly deleted by some fool, so I agologise for the lack of detail this time around
